Summer Practice Guidelines

For summer practice, including band camp, members of the Color Guard of Chelsea High should always:
  • Eat breakfast
  • Be in the band room at 7:55 AM dressed and ready to practice
  • Wear light-colored tops
  • Have hair in a ponytail, bun, or braid
  • Wear SPF 15+ sunscreen
  • Bring at least 40 oz. of ice water to practice each day
  • Pack healthy, easy-to-eat snacks
  • Bring any medicine needed (asthma inhalers, Benadryl, insulin, etc.)
  • Sport a good attitude
  • Have reliable transportation arranged to and from practice
